Connecting The Tees Valley - Statement of Transport Ambition - Published in March 2011, the Statement of Transport Ambition is the Tees Valley's long-term transport strategy. It provides the transport context for delivery of the Tees Valley Economic and Regeneration Statement of Ambition. A Strategic Environmental Assessment has been undertaken on the Statement of Transport Ambition. A summary statement is available here.

Statement of Transport Ambition: Implementation Plan - Managed by the Tees Valley Unlimited Leadership Board, the Implementation Plan sets out the schemes required to deliver the Statement of Transport Ambition. The plan outlines the scheme details, timescales, costs and potential delivery mechanisms. An extensive programme of transport modelling is currently underway to revise this but an earlier version can be seen within the Tees Valley Area Action Plan.

Tees Valley Area Action Plan - To facilitate future development and regeneration in the Tees Valley, TVU in partnership with the Highways Agency have developed the Tees Valley Area Action Plan. Utilising a database of future development, transport modelling has been undertaken to predict the growth of traffic on the Strategic Road Network. This has led to the identification and development of schemes which are set out within the Statement of Transport Ambition: Implementation Plan. The Area Action Plan is managed by a Steering Group and is continually updated.
